Particle board

The force in all directions is basically the same, the size is stable, the surface is flat, the board has good toughness, anti-bending and anti-deformation, it is not easy to break, it can bear the weight, and the overall performance is more balanced.

Advantages: outstanding comprehensive performance, strong structural stability, relatively good environmental protection, good sound absorption and sound and heat insulation properties, flat surface, suitable for a variety of veneers; easy processing, cost-effective.

Disadvantages: general moisture resistance, the second nail grip is not good; due to the internal structure of the particles, not easy to milling, part of the process requires high processing equipment, not suitable for on-site production; uneven product quality on the market, need to distinguish.

Recommended location: cabinet doors and cabinets in dry areas other than kitchens and bathrooms.

OSB

Advantages: good waterproof and moisture resistance, good stability, very high strength, strong nail grip, strong load-bearing capacity, easy to process, almost all the advantages of other man-made boards

Disadvantages: Rough surface limits the ability to finish, thus limiting use in the customization industry.

Recommended location: Mainly used as a building material; both cabinet doors and cabinets can be used.

MDF

Density board = fiberboard, the full name is density fiberboard, is based on wood fibers or other plant fibers as raw materials, fiber preparation, the imposition of synthetic resins, in the heating and pressurized conditions, pressed into the board.

Advantages: a variety of bark, adhesive paper film, veneer panels, light metal sheet and other materials can be glued on the surface of the density board; a variety of coatings, paints can also be coated on the density board, the effect is very beautiful; smooth and flat surface, fine material, stable performance, firm edge, easy to modeling, good toughness, not easy to break.

Disadvantages: not moisture-proof, poor nail-holding power, see water on the swelling, long time load-bearing deformation, so the height can not be too high, the amount of glue is larger, the environmental protection factor is relatively low.

Recommended location: cabinet doors in dry areas.

Plywood

Advantages: good moisture resistance, better structural stability, low heat transfer coefficient, easy processing, strong nail holding power

Disadvantages: formaldehyde content is less controllable, low lower limit of environmental protection; poor resistance to change.

Recommended location: cabinets, bathroom cabinets cabinet, the height is not too high, the area is not too large cabinet door.

Melamine Paper
